Interesting.

I’m not about to say that I’ve been ripped off, but the likeness is stunning to both myself and the guy I had an “art fight” with.  Though, I should really ask where his inspiration came from; maybe we both subliminally lifted the same idea?

Check it out.  The rest of his work is here, I just found him through an article posted on digg about an (awesome) animation that he did.

Sleepy Dasha is sleepy :)

So which of you guys knows computers?

And the entire store staff points to me. Working at an art store has its benefits for sure, being the only computer literate artist there (and only illustrator) certainly doesn’t hurt either.

This guy was just a few (12-24?) months late to the ‘Bama-rama, but hey, I can’t complain.

SF people buy his shirts, I hear the artist is pretty awesome. (silly text is only included in the bumper sticker version)

I only had a half day today :)

SO I worked on my shirt designs and did some self portrait work, it’s been a while.

Oh me and my forgetfulness

It’s late, but here’s some sketching from today.

I have been informed!

Small thumbnails are a drag, and java pop-up galleries apparently suck.  I’ll be working on a different approach, but don’t expect anything soon.  Though, if I can get my idea to work, expect something great. :)

New site is coming along

There  were a few things bothering me with my old layout that I’ve finally taken the time to fix.  I’m about 15 hours into it (it will be pretty obvious that I am not a coder, I’m sure) and I’m finally starting to like how it’s turning out.

If anyone remembers the transition from stimshock1.0 to 2.0 you’ll know what sort of changes I’m making.  Snazzy!

I just need to figure out how to get thickbox to do exactly what I want and rebuild my gallery.  Oddly enough, the whole site is about my gallery.

Doodle oolde ooo!

Yes, I am drawing every day. It’s pretty easy to do when I don’t have an actual job now.

sigh.

You may have noticed…

Stimshock.com was down for a while due to banking errors. Dreamhost did what they do and wiped everything, which leaves me and my unorganized self with a janky back-up of the site from a few months back. Stick with me, I’ll get it all back up again soon enough.
